The grueling 2 Day Quad Roof of Africa Race is considered the toughest test of man and machine South
Africa has to offer. To the amazement of everyone, it was won overall by the brand new, untried Can Am DS450.
To the amazement of no one, the winning machine was equipped with Rossier Engineering's 14:1 piston, cold air
kit and full exhaust system. It not only out-powered the competition, but it outlasted them as well!
Congratulations to rider Leander Pienaar and Frank DeGreef, importer of the RE equipment. Frank's 2 junior
riders, daughter Alicia and Giacomo Antiga, also had very strong showings at the National Championship opener
at Mafeking. Using an RE equipped DS 450, Alicia led the open and womens classes before crashing out with a
suspected broken collarbone. Similarly equipped Giacomo led the Juniors until a crash forced a 7 minute pit
stop for tie rod repairs, after which he returned to the track and worked his way up to 3rd by the end. A
great showing for all 3 riders and Can Am's new entry into the highly competitive 450 Sport market. You can
buy the same race winning technology right now from Rossier Engineering, the leaders in Can Am
performance.

Congratulations to Craig Fritz, newly crowned World Champion at the 2009 Lake Havasu World Finals. He used
the same RE engineered 951 Sea Doo powerplant that won an '08 National Title and 1st 2-stroke at the '08
World Finals. Hats off to Craig for chosing RE for all his engine needs.
RE EQUIPPED RACERS HAVE WON 16 WORLD TITLES!
While no longer actively developing new products in the personal watercraft arena, we are proud of our long and successful history in this
exciting field and still modify and service these engines. We feel the sheer volume of titles won with our engineered products should lend greater
credibility to the 4-stroke ATV / MX / Super Motard market that we are currently pursuing. We will continue to post our in-depth Sea Doo engine tech
articles in our Tech Talk section.
