Our pipe really wakes up the fuel injected YFZ. We increase the peak power from 38 and change to an honest 47. We also completely eliminate the stock sag at 3800 RPM that is present with the stock pipe. Couple that with the ability to rev all the way to 10,000 rather than nosing over at 8500, and you can see we have a killer pipe here.
Fuel injected engines need fuel mixture adjustments to compensate for increased power levels. This will require a Dynojet Power Commander or similar unit allowing for re-programming the stock ECU. We can sell you a properly pre-programmed Power Commander, or you can download the same program from our website into yours at no cost. See instructions under "Power Commander". This canned map will only work with our pipe and free air kit, or our pipe alone. Any other mods such as cams, porting, increased compression, etc. will require a session on a chassis dyno with a knowledgable tuner who can dial in your map to match your choice of components. Our canned map will work with the Power Commander 5 only.
